Delicious Thai food! I would return. Prices are commensurate with the area. A little bit of a walk from the subway station. Dimly lit ambiance and is quite loud. You may have to yell a little to communicate with your friends across the table. Service is overall quick and efficient. Small, cozy place. Recommend reservations. I think it's cute for a casual date, but if you want to have a deep conversation with your partner for a romantic date (and not feel rushed), I do not think this is the right place. It's more for casual dates or a friends gathering.

Very small spot on 10th avenue that can be a date night location, or can be a friends get together, it's dark and cute. I'll definitely use it for both. The drinks are out of this world. like every cocktail we had was really really good. From alcoholic thai iced tea to fun margaritas with thai chilis, but all stunning. Many dishes were out of this world. We had fried pork jowl, so good with great sauce. Even better was the raw scallops, they were so good and so spicy. The wagyu with duck egg was fantastic. The brisket curry was less exciting, but still really really good. I'll be back for sure, and the prices are pretty good, 4 dishes, 4 drinks, less than $200...not bad

I was searching for a take out Thai place around Hell's Kitchen , tried a couple in the area which were pretty good - then I found Valla! The take out process was seamless , friendly service and the host took time to offer suggestions which was helpful . I went with the Pad Thai , spicy beef noodle and chicken satays. I also ordered soup as well but haven't tried it yet due to devouring the others. The food was excellent and just what I needed .. I'm so happy I found my go to Thai Joint ! HIGHLY Recommended !!

We came here to celebrate my friends birthday as he told us he heard great things about the restaurant, and it lived up to the hype. There are only a few seats in the restaurant so definitely make reservations in advance! The tum yum and beef brisket panang were delicious, and I definitely commend coming here!

Intimate spot in Hell's kitchen, came here with a small group of friends. There so many options for every diet, our group spanned pescatarian, vegan, and vegetarians and was able to order as they wished. They accommodate spiciness tolerance for example I ordered a khao soi and they put the chili oil on the side. The food came out very quickly after ordering and we all loved the food. The prices were all very reasonable which was an added bonus. This might be my fav new thai spot in the city and look forward to coming back!

Trying to find a great place to for delicious Thai food and cocktails to pair with, then this is the place. First time going and it was stellar. Tried several of their signature cocktails and they were all distinct and paired well with the courses. The crispy pork was my dish and it was cooked perfectly. Staff were also very attentive and made the experience very smooth.

We came here for an early Sunday dinner. Got seated immediately without a reservation, but I do think we got lucky; any later, and I think we would probably have faced a 30 minute wait. Service was super friendly and fast; water refills came quickly! We started with the Pak Mor appetizer. The texture was fantastic; super chewy rice roll, with a nice crunch to the filling. Honestly wasn't expecting this to be so sweet though, as it tasted more like a dessert than an appetizer. We then got the Moo Krob Kra Pao (crunchy pork belly) and the Tai Pla set (spicy fish curry). The pork belly had amazing flavor; super savory, with a nice sweetness to balance it. The texture was a bit too hard though. If crunchy pork belly could be stale, then this felt a bit stale. Still would recommend though! The fish curry was VERY spicy; definitely don't get it unless you're very comfortable with spice. The fish pieces were good but not super tender, but the curry itself was very flavorful beyond just the spiciness. It comes with a whole fried fish, and this fish was definitely the best part of the meal. So fresh, and I ended up eating every part of it. Would recommend coming if you're nearby! Definitely a very solid meal, with some unique Thai dishes

I had such high expectations, and they were somehow still exceeded. It is so well priced for the high quality of food and upscale vibe. The place is super cozy but was extremely busy, so definitely get a reservation! Do not be fooled by the looks of the pad kea mao, it is RIDICULOUSLY FLAVORFUL. it's spiced absolutely to perfection, has a great balance of flavors and had me looking forward to every bite. I kept eating long after I was full because I could not stop myself from how delicious it was. The Panang was also FANTASTIC. super lemongrassy which I loved. Spicy and creamy at the same time it was as delicious as it looks! The star of the show was honestly the Thai tea. Not too sweet, and not bland and all it was so creamy and had a great strong tea flavor. If you love Thai tea, do yourself a flavor and try it here, you will not regret it. The service was super quick and our server was very friendly and gave perfect recommendations!
